1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website and booking a stay with Off-Grid Rentals, you specify your agreement to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Reservations and Payments

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Off-Grid Rentals. A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking, with the remainder due 14 days prior to arrival.

3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date are eligible for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.

4. Guest Responsibilities

The cabin is located in a remote, environmentally sensitive area. Guests agree to:

• Respect the local flora and fauna.
• Manage energy and water resources conservatively (solar power limitations apply).
• Carry out all trash generated during the stay ("Pack it in, pack it out").
• Observe the strict no-smoking policy inside the cabin.

5. Limitation of Liability

Off-Grid Rentals shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the property, including but not limited to injuries, accidents, or weather-related travel disruptions. Guests acknowledge the remote nature of the property and assume all associated risks.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
